No one cares about profiling. There is a lot of airplay and politician-play, but no one cares. That's a straw man. As far as the "rule of law preventing him from acting on his hunches", is that why he quit in protest? Or did he quit because his superiors should have listened but didn't? More questions at this point are in order, since we only know what the memo says, and the reporters' stories. A serious investigation can provide facts, rather than speculation.
