I think he came here when the Shah was kicked out of Iran I know lots of folks from that area. Posted stuff on them too. I could maybe find the posts in fact and post 'um. best wishes, pearly.

As usual there was plenty of warning and info out about our misguided support for the guy. It occurs to me that most people don't realize that in reality Iran has the most progressive and "western" population of all the Arab states. IMO engagement is the way to bring these underlying "true" opinions out of the population, not isolation. bwtfdik, my anecdotes are a few students. DAK
