That's not my conclusion, that's Rumsfeld's and Cheney's this week, like a Dickens from Hell: "We will be visited by terrorists here in this country, and there's nothing we can do about it. Oh, and by the way, they will eventually have nukes." That means, absolutely, that nothing of consequence has been done, pal. I don't give a crap if the rubble bounced a thousand feet in the air in Afghanistan, or what the fanciful stories are about Taliban/alQaeda or OBL, if I am then told it doesn't matter, we're in the crosshairs here. Your assertion seems to have completely forgotten THE ENTIRE POINT IS TO KEEP THIS COUNTRY SAFE! What do you think, flying around the world dropping bombs is "success"? You won't think that if all the bombs in the world won't save you from death tomorrow morning while you're sipping your latte and your neighbor detonates himself.
