There is no company more anxious than Microsoft to see the PC market re-energized.

I don't doubt that, but the product (Windows x86-64) has to be ready for this to happen. I don't know if it will be ready. The probability that the product will be ready in 2002 is much lower than that it will not be ready. The only reference to "when" that I have seen is in the FAQ that I posted to you, and it suggests that it will be after Windows.NET. And Windows.NET servers will arrive in 2003.
