I also consider 166FB unlikely but with the P4/566 and a relatively modest cost (?) for AMD and the OC experience with KT333 motherboards it seems increasingly desirable.

While the Athlons will become the value processor when Hammers arrive this is still a long time away and even then the extra performance would still be beneficial. Perhaps it is a problem with memory certification? Hasn't Intel also deferred PC2700 support?
