Petz, re: "Anything called Duron by AMD should transition to quantispeed ratings based on the Celeron P4, which will allow considerable inflation in the QS rating."

This idea seems to offer good potential for model inflation and then a Duron at XX MHz would be say 2000+ while an Athlon at the same MHz would be only a 1900+ given the poorer performance of the P4-Celeron relative to the P4-Willamette/NW baseline.

I hope this doesn't impact AMD too much.

Nvidia nForce 615 and 620 Scrapped
Reported by: Chris Tom At: 8:59 PM Source: Nvidia
In our meeting today with Nvidia we learned that the 615 and 620 nForce chipsets will no longer come to market. These chipsets were to add DDR333 support as a feature. nForce 2 will become the focus for Nvidia's next Athlon chipset. Nvidia will provide us with an official statement soon.
