Some researchers into this arena have found that "transparency" in certain data, such as commodity inventories, in particular,foods, industrial metals, is greater in some communist countries than the rest of the world. They are loaded with bureaucrats whose life work is to compile such statistics. And such info would not be handed to someone on a "silver" platter as you so sarcastically suggest. And I would say that if any statement smacked of arrogance it would have to be yours.
