It's the WSJ so you need a subscription, and it's a PDF file so I can't cut and paste it for you. But it's a fascinating tale. The media focused on the settlement amount initially, but the real juice is in the disclosure of how the whoring took place.

How many among us really believed that Blodgett wasn't a whore? This is sort of like seeing somebody plying the red light district for years, only now there is a secret video of what happened inside the fleabag motel that was Merrill Lynch's place of business.

One of the long term effects of email as the primary tool of communication is that it will allow us to look back upon these incidents with a lot more clarity. Shredders can't destroy all of the evidence anymore, and email never seems to die....it always stays on some backup or local hard drive or someplace.
