The present band of corrupt, venal, self-serving and self-satisfied big-swinging-dickheads are a menace to the entire planet. They are arrogant beyond belief, they offer no indication that they pay more than lip service to morality and ethics and are generally speaking scoundrels. I was gratified this evening to listen to Rep. Gene Taylor (D.-MS) speaking live on the floor of the House of Representatives giving the Republicans hell for enslaving our great nation with willfully imposed indebtedness that our children will be saddled with for decades. When Ronald Reagan came into the White House, we had a national debt of less that $1 Trillion. Now it is almost $6 Trillion. Most of this has been imposed by the Republicans who are enslaving the working people of America and transfering their wealth by a subterfuge to the bankers of the world. This is morally wrong, and this is the goal of George Bush. He should be ashamed of himself. He is the opposite of a patriot. He means to beggar the citizens of America for the sake of his small circle of oligarchs who pay for his puppetry. We are being led down the trail of tears by a man who does not care that he is destroying the American dream. He's only in it for a buck or two. Sadly, he's getting a sallow and shallow round of applause in the Bundestag and the Duma. But the people on the street are getting the tear gas so he can go on. There is no justice. But there is hope. With luck, Bush won't have enough of the apparatus to steal the 2004 elections. There is hope. -R.
