Lorne, what you say is what I saw Bush do on TV. There is a difference between what he said earlier ("crusade") to saying "Muslim terrorist". It is different from taking raping the Koran by claiming to take verses from there and considering it in isolation. Those who do so malign what the Prophet preached. They do the same thing that the terrorists do. The terrorists claim to speak for Islam and also quote the Koran to incite people to rise up in arms in the name of Islam. On this board and other boards on SI, we have our esteemed friends, armed with twisted verses from the Koran, preaching hatred against a religion which continues to enjoy a large following in the world and an increasing following here in the US.
