Glad you did. I read it twice. I had never before seen any assertion that there were left-wing environmentalists and some other kind of environmentalists. Around here, certainly, any interest in the environment brands one as a lefty. <g> Where did you find that story?

No big deal.

I suspect that the author may be right that farms cause a lot more environmental damage then oil drilling. But oil drilling hasn't been around as long and its probably easier to campaign against drilling then it is against farming. Esp. since oil drillers have to find new fields while farmers usually just farm the same land over and over again.
