When it comes to the environment, he truth is gold mining co's are highly toxic.
And the environmental effects from them is not what the world needs right now.
I think there should be a cap on any new explorations; let the existing resources and mines carry on but put a stop to new explorations especially in sensitive areas like Forest reserves, under the water table, and close to large rivers etc.
When you think about it ; for us who may be invested in gold and silver, it would be an incredible win win situation.
