There are only three of us, but we are used to a big living room, a fair sized dining room, and a very large kitchen. Also, our bedrooms are good sized. I would like a third bedroom, as I have now, for an office, and for my nephew/nieces when they visit. A lot of places we have seen would not fit all of our furniture, as we have some large pieces inherited from my in- laws. I want to be able to cut my wife's commute substantially, so I would like to be near a station for the Red Line. I also want to cut the time it takes to get downtown by at least 20 minutes (by car), compared to Annapolis, so I want to be pretty near the Beltway, or inside it. Plus, I need someplace that my brother who is confined to a wheelchair can easily access, at least for the primary entertaining areas, so it cannot have too many steps up to the door. Silver Spring and Takoma Park are much cheaper than Chevy Chase and Bethesda, so I am hoping I can get everything I want, in a decent neighborhood.........
