Gottfried and Cary. I agree and disagree with both of your posts. The May lows could hold. We could also rebound quickly with enough positive economic data but what if the data is not strong enough?

Do you really expect that the semiconductor issues should continue to be selling at a premium to the rest of the technology stock market in general with no business led economic recovery in sight?

Show me any other technology industry with its leaders still this far above the September lows. Oh there are a few stocks here and there but not selling this far above the lows as a group. That's why they are being targeted. That's why they will fall despite the real and measurable recovery data showing up in semiconductor industry data.

The recovery is just too tepid so far. In addition the amount of institutional buying is not high enough throughout the NASDAQ in general.

The SOX cannot hold up the entire market.

Look at the sell off in biotech stocks besides BGEN today:

This market is going to fall further.

When you see insider buying reappear it will be time to buy for the next up cycle.
