Get it, you won't be sorry... we have 80 pay per view channels too, with every movie starting every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day somewhere on some channel, it's like having your own Blockbuster Video store inside your TV... and you can watch the first five minutes of any movie at no cost just to see if you want to order the movie... if you have a phone set up with your TV, you can just order a moving with the click of your TV remote while the wife is microwaving some popcorn.....

Jake, I have DirecTV on 2 TVs and digital cable (basic service plus modem) and, like GZ, have rarely had a problem. During heavy thunderstorms you get a blank screen with the words "searching for signal". I have 2 receivers, one for each TV, and have had the system for 5 years. The satellite is much clearer than digital cable. I would recommend it.
