Ted, he wasn't being positive on AMD. He was being negative on INTC.
Even Fleck sees AMD as nothing more than a company whose sole raison d'etre is to hurt INTC. That along with his other comments suggests that he is affected (at the very least) by the rhetoric from Jerry and the AMDroids.

Tenchusatsu,

Huh? The focus was Intel but his comments re AMD were positive, and I quote: "......and AMD's hammer product is, in my opinion, going to hammer Intel. Its a better processor and AMD will be able to deliver." EOQ. That's sounds pretty positive to me; however, its only as good as Fleck and his opinions.

As for AMD's raison d'etre, well of course, Intel is AMD's number one competitor and really, its only competitor so why would they, say, make VTSS their raison d'etre. I think its time you jumped ship and got a job at AMD. <g>

BTW, do you think it will ever get warm in the NW this year? Damn, I expect it to snow any day now!! Where's global warming when you need it?
