Probably both - dead and having recovered my contribution. As for the boomers, if they are smart enough to look out for themselves, they deserve what they get. I suspect that each successive Presidential and Congressional election will be increasinly dominated by the politics of Medicare and Social Security to the point that by 2008, that will be THE issue. The politics of Medicare is already impacting Republican Districts like the 8th Congression District of Jennifer Dunn where seniors are bitterly complaining about lack of access to Doctors because of low medicare fees.
