Like Nortel sold a lemon to JDSU after hyping their stock before sale and warning?

The fiber group would certainly put a lot more pressure on earnings and defeat any attempt at keeping expenses in control. Kind of like we see going on at Nortel, huh?

As I said before, LU's post-McGinn management has been brilliant. They have anticipated market direction and have made all the right moves well ahead of everybody else. And on the first sign of a spending uptick, Lucent is currently structured to come out with both guns blazing IMO.

One more thing Kenneth. Lucent did the right moves and ejected the right sections at great prices. What has Nortel done during the same time? It almost looks like nobody cares at Nortel. Like everybody is asleep while the company goes to hell. Doesn't it make you wonder?
