Maurice, I agree about locking the doors. Can you believe our transportation guy, Paneta I think, saying the pilots can't be armed. But then goes on to suggest if there is another hyjacking, we'll just have to shoot the plane down?! Sick isn't it? regards, bt

Racial Profiling? Ok, so a Japanese grandmother is unlikely to be a Muslim terrorist, but she might be a member of Aum Shinrikyo. And who would have expected a black guy with a British accent of being with Al Queda? I like Chris O'Connell's sentiment, Message 17515455, although I'm woolly enough to accept a fudge. No systematic singling out every Arab - or Japanese, or British person - but allow some discretion. If that discretion is abused, then deal with it. The greatest defence against terrorism is Endurance. Ashley.
