We may never know, but its clear that this sort of behavior would be in keeping with Elgindy's character as revealed by both the recent indictment and his felonious past history.

He would have bought puts on Airline stocks if he knew. I sold alot of big cap tech the week before.

Mary's summary of the insidetruth shows two raids (FBI and SEC) that seems very well timed to the short post. I noticed KOOP was not on the list. Tony convinced me to take my profits out on it in time. Also Tony did get KREM wrong. I forgot how VASO did as the long. The TERN CC was very rude when I listened to it then. Just ramblings. :P

<<<Earlier this week, FBI agents raided Elgindy's $2.2 million mansion.
Inside, agents said, they found tens of thousands of dollars in cash
and gold coins. The government is seeking to seize Elgindy's fleet of
cars, including a Rolls Royce, a Jaguar and a Humvee. >>>

Seems like A@P isn't the only one who possibly knew about the 9/11 attacks. Remember all those stories right after 9/11 about suspicious shorting of stocks that were majorily impacted by the terrorist attacks.

I think there are quite a few people who knew that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were coming, including some people high up in our own government. Call me crazy or X-filish! But, what better way is there to secure a whopping $50 Billion increase in defense spending and for the goverment to sieze power from the citicizens in a post cold war world?

Call me crazy, but these are the same people who thrawted the Viet Nam War peace negotiations in 1968 and caused the war to last another 6 years and cost tens of thousands of American's lives. I read about it in Atlantic Monthly, in a piece by Christopher Hitchens and also recently saw it on the History Channel. Also, these are the same people who delayed the release of the American hostages in Iran back in 1980 until Ronald Reagan was innagurated. I saw the Iranian President at the time level just such an accusation on CNN in 1990 and saw Barbara Honniger of the Reagan Administration make the same charge in Coverup: The Iran-Contra Affair.

<< Before issuing the order, Magistrate Judge John Houston said he was going to "disregard" the suggestion that Elgindy had anything to do with the
terror attacks. >>>
