Internap Restructures Equipment Lease Obligations

SEATTLE -(Dow Jones)- Internap Network (NasdaqNM: INAP - News) Services Corp. restructured equipment lease obligations for 2002 and 2003, and expects $18 million in cash savings during the next 21 months due to the restructuring.

In a press release Wednesday, The company said it remains comfortable with sequential revenue growth despite the negative market dynamics throughout the telecommunications industry.

In April, the company projected a sequential increase in revenue, EBITDA losses of $6 million to $8 million and cash use of $14 million to $16 million for the second quarter.

A Thomson Financial/First Call survey of analysts produced a mean second quarter of 2002 loss forecast of 15 cents a share on revenue of $33.8 million for Internap.

Internap lost 45 cents a share on revenue of $29.3 million for the second quarter ended June 30.
