Jumpin' Jiminy, Cricket is a sport!

But she was very beautiful.

OK then, I'll try not to hate her.

I did hear that the number of viewers of Springer, Montel, Ricki Lake, even Oprah, are dropping.

I heard that too. As I was reading along here, Oprah was on the TV. I quit watching the TV a couple of hours ago--the sound is muted. As I saw the word, Oprah, I realized her face was on my screen. The show today was about her foundation's awards to people who are doing some really cool community service. They had two analysts who quit their jobs to build a boarding school right in the middle of an inner city, don't know which one. And another one who started a summer camp for homeless kids. The foundation gave $100K to each of them and some companies also made contributions. Lands End gave a year's wardrobe to each of the camp kids and Jeff Bezos gave all the boarding school students a computer. So I turned on the sound and watched for a while. I found it quite heartening.

"It was a cricket."

I don't know if you followed that link I posted to the guy who teaches an anthropology class that is really a critical thinking class. [I typed "which" as I was writing that sentence instead of that, then realized who I was posting to and went back and corrected it.] Anyhow, I've started reading the course material. It's very simple, hardly Aristotle, but it looks like it might be effective for its audience.

Personally, think Davy Crockett is a bit tough as a subject..

I would have went with some think like a drawing of Bill Clinton giving his grand jury deposition...

But i'm such a lousy artist. He would have been a stick figure and no one would have ever gotten it.
