Rediculous innuendo, IMO. The guy allegedly traded on "inside" information (way "inside").

But 9/11? Gimme a break.

You don't get rich and famous (like Anthony obviously wanted to be) by trading on such disasters. You get rich and famous by whistle-blowing and being a national hero forever.

Why Dilbert loves the Internet

news.com.com

<<...What lessons have you or Dilbert learned from the dot-com boom and bust?

Well, I (have) this new book coming out, "Dilbert and the Way of the Weasel," and I would lump the dot-coms in with Enron and Merrill Lynch and Arthur Andersen and all these companies that are just major weasels. My main thing is that anybody who invests in individual stock just doesn't understand that the management is just as likely to be making up stuff as the publisher. I think it used to be true that you could more or less trust them because the threat of getting caught would keep them honest. But that doesn't even seem to make a difference anymore. It just seems (like) widespread lying everywhere...>>

I think Greenie made some comments about telecom companies and debt, that were not altogether negative.

Apparently the gist was that telecom companies could afford to take on this amt of debt while other companies could not. Since the SEC is investigating wcom and their findings could determine the viability of the company, it might be worth getting a transcript.
