no one minds when someone else's mythology is "understood" as crap, but everyone minds when it is their own. In those circumstances, it's useful to have a set of explainable criteria and to apply the criteria evenly. That doesn't mean people won't be pissed off, but at least one has a rationale and a defense. EDIT: Which reminds me, I saw a promo on TV yesterday that there's a college that offers a degree in astrology. Unfortunately, I missed the segment and have no more details. A degree in astrology!
