That guy (ex Intel employee) sounds soooo much like one of the AMD hardliners I used to track on the SI AMD thread. He was open minded, but didn't tag along with the INTC mantra (Scumbria). In fact I heard he got a job at inhell...Hmmmmmmm Anyway it looks as if more semiconductor professionals (or ex professionals) then just me also thinks the semiconductor sector is in overcapacity mode and heading for the rocks This is like a movie repeat...Lets call it "Titanic VII, it sinks like a stone yet again".. It gets kinda boring. Theme of this repeat.... - Sailing too fast in an area populated with a high density of Icebergs. (hi P/E's & various mammoth problems with world economy) - A kindly reminder that there is a great shortage of life boats. No worry, the SOX is "unsinkable". She has magnificent new 300mm engines... all the latest technology. - Everybody dances in a make believe world of luxury and excess. - The semiconductor sector steams into an over supplied channel at 30+ knots. -An announcement is made that there is no need to panic. -First class passengers requested to meet on deck. -Please could the band play some soothing music. ....Bet you cant guess what happens next?
