PT, Dan, re: Gericom This is excellent news! Gericom is very popular in Germany, at least here in Munich. You see Gericom notebooks in almost all department stores. Besides, Gericom used to be the supplier for ALDI, the big grocery store chain which still has been Intel-only (in contrast to PLUS and Lidl which prefer AMD). Gericom used to be Intel-only. That Gericom has made a turn-over and is now offering AMD notebooks as well means a significant victory for AMD. However, on their webpage they still hide the new AMD notebooks. So maybe they are still somehow shy and don't like to tell their new policy to the public. Fear of loosing any "special status" with Intel??? Peter
