as much as I hated A@P's tactics, when I see the gov seizing property before a conviction, my skin starts to crawl. It's times like this that I fear my government. And the fact is, there are many cases where law enforcement agencies have done these types of seizures when they were later found out to be wrong. And they don't give the stuff back willingly. I see what you mean though, regardless of the outcome of any trial, he has been convicted and will be punished for the rest of his life. That ain't the way the justice system is supposed to work.
