Darn.

Rambus and copper took AMD from 12% of the market to 22% - if Intel will stick to its guns, then Itanium and SOI can take AMD to 50% of the market.

IBM seems to be bailing on Itanic sooner than it did on Rambus (remember when IBM micro was pushing Rambus chips?) - but that doesn't necessarily mean Intel learned anything from its mistakes.
