I just finished a very long article in "Atlantic Monthly" about the final selection of the JSF Fighter. It is called:

"Uncle Sam Buys an Airplane," How Lockheed Martin beat Boeing for the biggest military contract in history, and how that one contract could change the way the military builds and pays for its weapons

It was fascinating to me, but may bore a lot of people here. I shows where military procurement is going, and how they are trying to keep down costs. (If you want to know why the Boeing model was called the "Monica" read it.) You can find the article at

WorldNetDaily is in this case about as credible as The National Enquirer. As I recall those 14 Syrian "men" were already pilots and were cleared by the State Department before entering the US for further training. Maybe that's why they didn't draw the attention of the FBI.
