Insiders are selling their shares 5 times more often than they are buying them. These numbers do not indicate a bottom.

We are not even near a short term bottom yet Crossy. Over the last year and a half I have posted many times my following of the relative strength of the stocks listed here by Silicon Investor in the semiconductor industry.

The group is not even oversold at this point. I'll be happy to buy when stocks are cheaper but doesn't it bother you that many a semiconductor company is still raising cash by selling shares rather than buying them back?

One of the stocks we have discussed between us FCS is a good example:

Fairchild Semi prices 20 mln offering at $25.65 (FCS) 25.65 -0.55: On May 20, FCS filed a registration covering 20 mln shares -- 13 mln to be sold by the company and 7 mln by a stockholder.

ChipPAC (CHPC) 8.75 -0.16: ChipPAC priced 12 mln share follow-on at $8.75.

P/E's aside there are lots of other ways to see the glass is half full right now.
