Mike,

How are you doing?

Also watched Kudlow/Cramer. I wonder if Doug Kass is putting his own money where is mouth is or if he is interested in collecting fees from these talk shows. This is the first time I have heard anyone publicly stating they were shorting gold shares. Suppose there are some hedge funds short gold stocks. If we start to get enough shorts in the stocks, the fire works is going to be fun to watch between the bulls and bears.

Joan

Mike, Doug Kass redeemed himself a bit in this week's Barron's when he turned over the rock hiding Dell Financial Services weasely self. DFS is a partnership between Dell and CIT, which is a division of Tyco. Gee, when two of the top flim flammers get together, it has to be a trip. It looks like Dell wins the battle of the hucksters on this partnership. Maybe that's why Lehman backed out from buying CIT, which they never intended to buy in the first place, IMHO.
