re:...important to remember that this is not an opportunity for religious fanatics from other faiths to run down the teachings of Islam...

Nevertheless, that should not mean that those of other faiths must somehow restrain themselves from pointing out those elements of Islamic teachings (Prophet-derived or otherwise) which appear to support the "kill-the-infidels" approach taken by muslim fanatics.

Re: And hence in that context I said that Muslim (faith) has nothing to do with terrorism.

For all we know, once you've put aside the Palestinian/Israeli conflict and the Pashtuns' liberation struggle in Afghanistan and Kashmir, we're left with a rather peaceful Muslim world --not the boiling hotbed of barbarism Judeofascist-minded medias try to sell to world opinion. After all, millions of Western tourists (including Jews) travel every year to Morocco (Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, etc), Tunisia (Djerba, Hammamet,...), Egypt, Turkey, even Syria and Iran, Yemen, etc. Not to speak of Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. I believe it's safer for Westerners to travel in these Muslim countries than it is for African-Americans to travel to Moscow!

More later, I've to go...
