Gary, Cool stuff. Owning a company means one would have to mess with a bunch of people, most of whom continually have ulterior motives, every day of the week. Investing on the other hand is a personal thing, and one can only blame ones self for failure. On the other hand success is very enjoyable, because you don't really have to share it. I was thinking of writing a post this week, about what I've learned in my short career. Decided I don't want to do that, but just say success requires a lot of key ingredients, but don't ever underestimate the importance of fundamental knowledge regarding the wide range of aspects and dynamics relevant to the market place, no matter what kind of investor or trader you might be. The ones that had that and used it, and verified it with other means, are the ones that got in at the bottom of this PM boom. There is a huge difference between getting in at the bottom, versus 1/3 or 1/2 of the way up. Also wanted to say thanks to Frank who started this board and to the many regular posters who helped start it and still post regularly. I didn't come here for a while, and only did so after deciding this board embodied the type of investors, traders, speculators or mercenaries that I wanted to communicate with and continue to learn from. It has been a 'Cool Water' learning experience and ride up so far this year. Well we're having a heat wave, and when we do we have to enjoy it. Time for a Heiniken.
