In other words, I'm proud of what they do as long as they win. Whatever it takes is fine with me. Just as I said in a previous post, politics is a liberal Democrats religion and they will say or do anything in order to support the cause. The nation be damned. If the elderly can be fooled, it's their fault. That's one big difference between conservatives and liberals. We expect certain values and principles to be upheld even while involved in a political fight. When those values are broken, we expect the people involved to pay a price. Lying and scaring elderly americans wouldn't be accepted. Some things are just plain wrong. And a person who put the nations interests above their own, Republican, Democrat, libertarian or independent should know that.
