Jay,

One would think by 2004 we will have the American public fairly well educated of the corruption that produced the wealth transfer during 1990's from the middle class to Wall Street, Washington and management of American Corporations. Part of this education will be the laws that were passed in Washington, bought and paid for by Wall Street and American corporations that allowed for this transfer. One would think this would be sufficient for the public to throw the folks in Washington out of office no matter what is going on. By this time I would suspect very few people will want very much to do with Wall Street - should be a similar situation as happened in the 1930's in this country. Hoover did not last long.

My parents were farmers and did not have money in Wall Street during the 1920's or 1930's, but I can remember during the 1940’s they would talk about the crooks on Wall Street and they were right. <g> Also suspect it will be at least 20 years for the mess to get cleaned up and people willing to send their hard earned money back to Wall Street. It was not until the 1950's when people in mass started to trust Wall Street after the corruption of the 1920's.

BWDIK,

Joan
