Created with the help of South Korean intelligence agents and Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the League dedicated itself to uniting Fascists throughout Asia and combatting Communism. The League set up and funded Moon's Freedom Center in the United States in 1964. Kodama was chief advisor for the Moon subsidiary, Win Over Communism, an organization which helped to protect his investments in South Korea. In 1966, the League merged with the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations, another Fascist organization, to form the World Anti-Communist League. Dedicated to fighting Communism and promoting Fascism, and spreading to nearly 100 nations on six continents, the World Anti-Communist League was headed by John Singlaub, one of the key players in the Iran-Contra scandal. According to Sara Diamond, the League was a "multinational network of Nazi war criminals, Latin American death squad leaders, North American racists and anti-Semites, and Fascist politicians from every continent." The headquarters for the League is in the United States, in the offices of Moon's Freedom Center." Then, start looking at the mix of stories over a few months in a different light. In the above story it's the "promoting fascism" claim that is of concern. What does that mean? According to Sara Diamond who researched this, "According to Sara Diamond, the League was a "multinational network of Nazi war criminals, Latin American death squad leaders, North American racists and anti-Semites, and Fascist politicians from every continent." The headquarters for the League is in the United States, in the offices of Moon's Freedom Center." I have no problem with criticizing gay schoolteachers that prey on schoolkids, and other obvious stories. It isn't the obvious stories that are of concern with media ownership. It's the stories that don't get play, are suppressed, or leaked, that are part of a larger spin for a larger agenda. It's a free country, so who cares of one paper spins the news one way, since others spin the other way, even if the agenda is kept secret? I guess, but it makes me nervous, and I look at WT stories much more suspiciously knowing it was created by that particular individual.
