Indeed.. Between Smita and Shabana, hard to pick one.. Both had their moments in 70s.. Indian film press built them up as rivals, same thing they did with Dilip and Raj Kapoor..
Of course, with Arth, you get them both..

Between them and Naseeruddin Shah, you have some of the more interesting small films of the 70s, and 80s.. If you want to look up couple of obscure films, Check out Pestonji and Mohan Joshi Hazar ho..
