I think perhaps the fed going in the 9/11 direction is more due to probing for anything (anything at all) that might pop up in relation to his brother, Khaled, who is very involved in Arab-American led forums of US policy debate.
Not really a "Tony thing" except for that.

That's confusing. Why would a man who is market oriented use pacific times in his emails?

Go to your e-mail. Checkout the column called "Recieved". Are the times displayed there in you computer's local time zone? Think about that a minute.
