hmm, good point. i am on a listserve that sends a lot of mail daily. i like to follow it, but interferes with my regular email. so i only plan on perusing email from this listserve. thanks for the heads up . is yahoo.com email the same problem??? thanks for the input. larry

I use hotmail for an e-mail address that I can freely give away. It gets most of my junk mail. :-)

Also when you view e-mail from hotmail account, it is displaying from the web site, so I would think there should be no problems with autorun attachments spreading viruses to your computer.
