Forgetting buy and sell signals, can a down channel end without a new channel being created? Or is there always a channel, even if it is perfectly horizontal?

answer:
(1) Very good question.
(2) Looking at my web site you will notice that one of the
buy-sells has been covered up by an extended down channel.
Namely hal buy 4/16- hal sell 4/24.
(3)Each day brings in new data and channels do get adjusted.

(1)The most import time for Hal is NOW !
(2)Either every one minute,5 minutes or at the close Hal
can give a probability distribution function of the change
in trend.
(3) Do you recall hal's recent warning early in the morning?
Based on that time it looked like a high probability that
a sell would happen at the close.
(4)As the day went on, that Function ate more data and was
able to post 1625 one hour before the close for that day.
(5) For the coming week Hal is on a melting ice flow.
We better move north this week or else(g)
