Hi Michael,

Thanks for your well written reply. It seems that we have something in common. We both want decent, honest, moral and ethical leadership for this country. Where we differ, obviously, is in interpreting the so-called facts that are presented to us.

There's no question but what Al Gore is capable of telling some "whoppers" and that he does himself a disservice by doing so. As for McCain, I'm actually more inclined to his brand of conservatism than to Gore's embrace of globalization which I see as a curse to millions of Americans.

What I object to with Bush is his incessant efforts to feather the bed of his elite buddies like Ken Lay, while largely ignoring the small business engine that is the lifeblood of innovation in this country. Taking care of the country club crowd at Lyman Kay in the Bahamas, for example, really shouldn't be the first priority of our President, yet it is hard to conclude otherwise about the present Resident. If you are part of the small elite that GWB caters to, then by all means he deserves your support. Otherwise, it seems you might be being taken for a ride.
