If anyone is interested in calculating die sizes for low tech chips....see if an equivalent technology is made by NSM and shipped in their micro package "MICROSMD" package.

That gives you an upside value of the die size. From that info you can calculate approximate manufacturing costs and then from pricing info the approximate margin.

Why anyone even bothers investing in hi tech trash like DRAM intrigues me no end.

So lets not act surprised if the whole semi equip sector takes a moonshot on the news....

I for one think the worst that will happen for the shorts is a gap and crap similar to AMAT. Everyone knows orders will be good. It's what is the world going to look like in six months that counts.

I'm staying short. I'll add day trades into any rallies.
