You have my respect; however, pie in the sky thinking like yours never works. You can't be a little pregnant. Bush is right. "Who is not with us is against us." Just as Jesus said, "He that is not with me is against me:" The concept is the same. Jesus was always making these types of contrasts. Like, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. All I'm saying is that I will not be caught in the middle of this issue. People are fooling themselves if they think they can play both sides. One has to make a choice. I agree with you regarding Bush's ability to find European allies on the war on terrorism. It is interesting that the U.S. shares so much in common with Europe and yet we differ on this subject. I guess that is why the people that created the United States first separated and choose to leave their homeland. Most of the people of the U.S are cut from the same cloth as the Europeans however, the threads that bind U.S. citizens of European decent is much different. In fact, I believe that same thread is cherished by all nationalities that make up the United States. That thread was the choice of freedom. Freedom of, you can input what ever you want; in the end they choose freedom. So, I can see why Europeans do not see it the way America sees it. Europe has a history of appeasement and apparently nothing has changed. I also think Europe is afraid of an oil embargo. All the U.S. poles show overwhelming support for Israel. I'm sure those who were polled don't agree with Israel on everything but they made a choice. You will eventually make a choice! Eclectus
