Do beetles eat gold?

Are we growing pine?

Do workers ask for more money when current economic conditions indicate they are overpaid, and will be lucky to have a job tomorrow as the Mericans are attempting to protect their market from our low priced imports?

We have discovered that mutant male beetles are attracted by a mating pheromone from the female. We set pheromone containing traps in our lots that trap and kill most of the males, and release our own version of the male beetles that mates with the female to create a new beetle that likes to eat ragweed instead of our trees.

The price of trees has doubled because of the beetle scare, so we presell a whole bunch more trees at the highest prices in 40 years. Tree lease rates are at the lowest levels in decades because everyone thought the price of trees was going to $3000 each so tree central banks could not give trees away at any lease rate. Our bonds make more as interest rates start to climb because of all the uncertainty in the economy and in the middle east. The bonds will double in value now every 5 years.

The company makes a killing over the next 10 years and we retire multi-billionaire tree barons.
