Not as positive of a connection as when Hillary called the handler of the Clinton "blind account" and the handler moved the account from long to short in the biotechs the day before the Clintons announced they would try to put price caps on drugs. I missed this one. TELL ME MORE! Here's one for you. About 25 miles north of me two ME men opened a gas and groceries place in '97. Small town of about 1,000 and served an area of about 3,000 people with no competition. A gold mine. On Sept.9th they cut their gas prices in half and cleaned out their bank accounts. They were gone on the 10th. I bet they knew something was up. Nah. Just coincidence. :-0 WOW! Did anyone report that?

They were gone on the 10th. I bet they knew something was up. My sister rented an apartment to two mideasterns two years ago for big bucks! What great tenants! They paid six months rent in advance...in cash, because they said they were in the U.S. temporarily and didn't have a checking account established. They were quiet, never entertained and never complained about anything and were hardly ever home. They never returned to clean out their apartment after 9/11. (But the feds did when they were called. It's within walking distance of Logan airport!) She says, "How could I have been so stupid?" I say, " Everything changed after 9/11. We're smarter now." Hopefully, we are???? Marie
