Oh, no we had a very very good run from late may with a double top in the summer, the double top occurred earlier than I expected, but as we approached it, I had the "run for the hill" sign at 4300 (changed from the "just under" 5000, I had in April as the next top, the turnips are always too optimistic...). Anyone entering late that May (My target low was May 18th, we actually bottomed May 23 at 3155 or so, my target high changed to 4300 during June, and we peaked at 4289, first in mid July and had a second top at 4208 on the last day of August. I actually did pretty well then, I called for the Major bear market to start once AMAT closes under $75 (that was I believe in the first week of August) and that was also a major bear signal for the SOX in general, you probably should go to the channeling thread in late July early August of 2000 (it was not yet that busy), or maybe the blood running in the street thread, and CYMI, I can't remember now when I made that call, but I was quite clear of the importance of AMAT holding $75. From that point AMAT dropped 66% before it bottomed, my "forecast" was only 50% (g).
