Re: "Do you have another poll that says otherwise?"

Immaterial. What we're talking about here is the medium, not the message.

One cannot use an unscientific vote.com poll as proof of anything. If Thomas Watson wanted to raise a point about Bush's popularity rating or how the American public views the "Bush Knew" disclosure. there are several scientific, legitimate polls on the WWW that he can cite, most notably cnn.usatoday.gallup.

But should we expect Mr. Watson to actually go to a legitimate site instead of vote.com or newsmax.com or rushlimbo.com? Probably not.

Maried, there is science and there is Engineering that is the art of realizing what we understand of science. The foundation engineering that goes into all the electronic wonders the surround us all are awash in statistical analysis and many deal directly with solution to solve statistical problems. How does one allocate enough of phone switches or cell towers to statistically have resources for all, all the time or as much of the time as possible. This all with automatic failover.

The heart of engineering is looking and measuring and then fitting with artistic, or learned wisdom how things are different and how they are the same. The true solutions are in seeing the differences in the commonality.

There are those who can only see formula and not step outside of their reference box. They cannot see the forest for the trees.

I found it amusing that according to he or she whom I call lying flappie that his scientific observation is that "People who vote on vote.com tend to be computer-savvy right-wingers ... the same class of people that inhabits the Right Wing Inbred Thread on Silicon Investor, has newsmax.com as his or her home page and listens to AM right-wing Clear Channel hate radio." #reply-17518712

Tom's Proffer...
Now what I have found is if you get a vacant liberal minded leftyloon with a propensity to lie to pen more than a one line insult you will get the stupidest rants proffered as science.

Now just think about where one can take the right wing proffer. If you sit down at a computer and start or have someone start a web browser and you can type vote.com, And you also have the ability to read, well you are almost a "computer-savvy right-winger" . I guess what really makes you "computer-savvy" is that talent of moving a mouse cursor over a selection [yes|no|???] (left mouse click) and then moving it over to a big red (VOTE) button and (left mouse click)

Now did you know that you also must have the strength to lift a stack of 10 3.5 inch floppies to have enough strength to depress the left mouse button,(note: tested on a logitech mouseman) Which is twice the force needed to depress keys on a keyboard(ie type). (tested on northgate omnikey keyboard.)

Well what is funny is that most are right handed and thus vote right with there left most finger.

And I'd guess what makes you a right winger is you laugh at the stupidity of those who think they have a clue about science or vote contrary to he or she I call lying flappie.
