read that Placer Dome has 12% of its reserves hedged this might enable them to rid themselves of most contracts as you know my opinion, forward sales are like hydrochloric acid to the company's balance sheets I saw no mention in the story by Placer on unwinding hedges a really smart newsletter editor likes Placer here I think dozens of smallcaps are much better prospects but I sure love the story that smallcaps are being bid up it should help the little guys enormously the biggys will need to secure more reserves the industry reports a shortfall of 1000 tons per year / jim
