I'm confused. What point do I need to prove? If vote.com is not "scientific" in a statistical sense, then it isn't "reliable" in terms of the general population. That point cannot be argued. (Yes, sometimes the results of a vote.com poll and a scientific national poll will coincide, but that is the exception, not the rule.)

I suspect what you want is an example of disparity. So let me offer up the following. It isn't a precise apples vs. apples, but I think it serves to illustrate my point.

Vote.com asked: "Does the Second Amendment protect an individual's right to own guns?" The vote was 87 percent yes and 13 percent no.

Now, contrast those results with a recent legitimate, scientific poll that asked the question: "Do you favor modifying the Second Amendment, which guarantees an individual's right to possess a firearm?"

53% said yes, the Second Amendment should be modified.
