Re: "But let's say he was not short the market. One counter is that he surely would know that it would raise a red flag."

Hold him underwater for 10 minutes. If he drowns, he was innocent and you can give him a decent burial. If not, he must be evil.

Did you short the market in the week prior to 9/11? If so, did you have advance knowledge of the event? If not, what were you trying to hide?

Sheesh... what a display of fuzzy thinking.

This reminds me of a joke (from Greenberg's "How to be a Jewish Mother").

The little old Jewish mother gives her son two shirts for his birthday. When he finally wears one, she says, "What's the matter? You didn't like the other one?"

Your logic damns Tony either way. So it is devoid of logic.

He is guilty of bribing FBI guys and getting info on compnaies being investigated by FBI.

But to make a charge he had ties to terrorist attack info is pretty petty in my opnion. If he werent a Muslim and of Arab descent, nobody be making these crazy remarks against him in my opinion.

His ego just got ahead of him. there is no virtue like HUMBLENESS and i think he learnt it in a painful way.
